Course Description: Students will explore a range of styles of art from caveman through the impressionist to present day contemporary artists. It will include some hands on art when students will trial techniques but most session will involve viewing styles of art, discussing technique, comparing and contrasting styles and forming opinions. It is hoped students will develop a knowledge of art forms across the ages, be able to make connections to events in world history and also develop an art vocabulary.
